Welcome to TBGL!
The Best Golf League was founded in April 2024 to promote a regionally competitive league, get people out to different courses, and play competitive golf for a cash prize. The league is region based with a $125 New Member fee. Top golfers from each region move on to TBGL playoffs for a chance at $2,500 to the winner, $750 to second place, and $1,000 to The Best Region Champion (split between the top 5 region members). In 2024 we had regions in NYC, Upstate NY, North Jersey, South Jersey, Pennsylvania, and South Carolina. Don’t see your a region near you? Create your own! Minimum 5 people per region.
TBGL Season 2 will start Saturday, May 24 with the last day of the regular season being Thursday, July 31 (10 weeks). Playoffs will be held the first weekend in August! Save the date.
TBGL is all handicap based.
Requirements include:
Playing each TBGL round with another league member to ensure integrity and fairness throughout the league. Each member communicates they are playing their TBGL round for the week BEFORE they start their round.
Logging a full 90 holes in 10 weeks to qualify for TBGL Playoffs. Top 2-4 per region (depending on Region size) will advance to TBGL Playoffs.
